I Made a Crypto Payment But It Was Not Credited

All payments on Tell A Bot platform are processed automatically. Once your cryptocurrency transaction receives the required number of confirmations on the network, the funds are credited to your account balance. The exact number of confirmations differs from one network to another.

Only after the payment is fully confirmed and credited, it can be used for services such as SMS verification, receiving an OTP, or any other one-time password requests. Until that you will be getting a "Low balance" error.

However, issues can occur if something goes wrong during the payment process. Below are the most common reasons why your payment may not have been credited.

Not paying in time

When you generate a payment address it is reserved for you for 30 minutes during which the exchane rate will be fixed. You should make a payment within this time frame. The system will mark the payment as expired and stop checking it after 30 minutes. You may try to generate an address for the same crypto currency again, but the exchange rate may be different this time.

Not waiting for full confirmation

Different cryptocurrencies require different numbers of confirmations. Some networks are faster, while others may take more time. For example, Bitcoin transactions require 2 confirmations, but with low fees they can take a very long time to confirm. Sometimes hours.

Bitcoin Cash may take 30-60 minutes depending on network conditions. Until the required confirmations are reached, the payment will not be credited.

You can always check your transaction status using the block explorer link provided on the payment page.

Sending too small an amount

Payments below the minimum required amount will not be processed. Some users attempt to game the platform by sending very small amounts to gain access to services like a single OTP or SMS verification. These payments are ignored by the system and will not be credited to your balance.

Sending to a wrong address

If you send funds to the wrong address, they are almost always lost. Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be canceled or reversed once they are completed. This means that if the address does not belong to us, for example if malware on your device replaced it with an address controlled by a third party, the funds cannot be recovered.

Always verify the payment address shown on the payment page before sending any funds, and make sure it matches exactly.

Sending a wrong crypto token

Another common mistake is sending a different token than the one selected. For example, you may generate an address for TRX but send USDT instead, or send USDC instead of USDT. This happens frequently on networks like TRON or Ethereum.

In such cases, your payment will not be processed automatically. The good news is that it may still be recoverable. You should submit a support ticket with your transaction details, and the team will review it manually and credit your balance if possible.

Sending to a wrong network

Cryptocurrency networks are not interchangeable. If you generate an address for one network but send funds through another, the system will not detect the transaction. For example, sending USDT via BEP20 or Polygon to an address generated for Arbitrum will result in a loss of funds. Please always be very careful when sending your funds, and double check everything.
